So far as far as i can tell when JoeyP puts down the following as a pick R1-----#8 Turbotime With 5-4-3-7
I am guessing that what that means is he is picking Turbotime for the win, and picking 2 of the horses 5,4,3, and 7 to come in either 2nd or 3rd? Correct

Also do you guys just bet the pick to win, or do you always only do the combination betting like this? Thanks in advance from a newb

Joey, I spent the day getting some stuff done around the house and playing your picks at Gulfstream. I'm small potatoes - playing $2 bets and $1 exotics. By the last race I was up about $20. I spread it all out over boxes with a side of Andeamus to win and show. Unfortunately Andeamus didn't produce, but I'm not complaining. I had horses in every race, didn't lose any money, and had an absolute blast.

I'm taking notice. I had a a couple of 15-20 minute windows today to get on youbet.com and BetJam, and each time I couldn't wait to log on and play a race. I got to play 3 races and Joey hit the winner in two of them - both were at BEST 2nd favorite. I just bet them all 3 across the board. Won two and got my heart pounding on all 3. Won a quick 50 bucks. Can't wait till the weekend when I have time to watch an entire track and play one of Joey's cards all the way through again.

Tweets I'm a complete novice at this too. I check Joey's picks and a few minutes before post decide what to do with them. Sometimes one of his outside picks (the one's he includes with the winner) will have slipped to a really long shot. I leave those alone. He picks these early and if I see a horse plummet I figure she's not showing well in workouts or something is wrong. I take what's left that look like decent shots and sometimes I'll play a few exacta box's - maybe a trifecta or two - all for a $1 and sometimes I'll just take his favorite and play it across the board for $2-$5 win place and show (or maybe just WP or WS). I generally do that last part no matter what, unless his horse is the favorite and then I just bet it to win with some other small exotics included.

I usually don't have more than $10 on any 1 race. I don't know if that's beyond your budget, but I haven't lost money a single day following Joey's picks.

tweets what i suggest with small bankroll, pay attention to live odds and if my top horse is 3w-1 or higher play win -place and play a small exacta straight like maybe 3 with 4-5-6 for example or maybe even reversing it like 4-5-6 with 3

also ive been very hot play like $1 pick 3's rolling from race to race cost you a buck to cover 3 races
cant get any more conservative than that many $1 pick 3's even with the favorites will get you back between $25 to $50 for a $1 hope i helped you out
