Daily Introduction
I've decided to implement a Daily Introduction before the standard information below.
The adverse weather in the UK has cancelled all but one meeting. Southwell (all-weather track) goes ahead with 7 races. I will consider today a success if the system selects one winner from the 7. I doubt very much that the system will pick the winner of the 4.20, which should be won by either No 3 Bispham Greeen or No 6 Combustible (both should be placed).
The races are now scheduled to start 5 minutes after the published times.
Standard Information
Due to the amount of time it takes me to list all the horses before racing starts (when I could/should be doing other things), together with the number of changes I have to make during the racing, I have decided not to post the horses on a single list at the outset. Instead, I will post the horses during the racing period. As far as I know, no-one (other than me) is actually betting on these horses, so I'm not expecting any complaints or adverse comments.
I'm not a typist, so due to the amount of data and keystrokes, I will post the picks as follows:
Race Track: All races are in the UK. The location of the race will be identified by the 1st 3 letters of the name of the track.
Race Identifier: The time of the race will be posted in the GMT zone am/pm mode (always pm). I will not post the race number, thus avoiding any confusion with the horse's number.
Horse Identifier: The horse will be identified by its race number (not stalls/post draw No) plus the 1st 3 letters of its name.
Pick Changes. Due to the betting market I reserve the right to change the pick at any time, but if this happens the new pick will be posted as soon as practicable. This might occur shortly before/after the race starts.
