I know Mike plays there, and Joeyp plays there, and I play there, I'm wondering how many of you other guys play there? Also, if I recall correctly someone said that some of the states don't allow it, anyone in that situation?

Residents of the United States and Canada are eligible to participate in Derby Wars tournaments except for those residing in Arizona, Iowa, Louisiana, Montana, Tennessee, Vermont and Washington.

The best thing about the site is their top heavy payouts. It's much better to get paid very well for the days you win rather than winning a couple dollars for 9th or 10th like they used to do.

I play here and there, usually heads up or 3p. Might start playing bigger tournies, as long as mike isn't in it!

After taking the winter off from hosses I just jumped into my first DW contest of 2013 the other day. I regret this. Seriously, I woulld recommend this site to anyone, have never seen anthing shady going on and the dealings I've had with the guys there (Mark, Mike et al) has been great, they communicate like decent human beings and not like some leverage-seeking bots that I've encountered at other sites. Give them a shot if you like the horses, great adjunct to your straight horse betting.

I have just started playing there as well....I have really stuck to H2H and the 3-5p models. I have also had some success in the 17 double up tourneys.

I have not had any success with the big tourneys, but that is my doing and nothing more. I am still working on my tournament strategies for this.

It's really not much when the wins come from survivor games, you see, any money finish is considered to be a win, and in playing survivor you are allowed 3 entries per game, normally 2-3 games a day (sometimes 4 games a day), so we are talking about 6-9 shots a day at getting wins. I average 2 wins a day (money finishes, 1st or 2nd, including chops).

I have been super cold the last 4 days, in a sort of a funk, I'm really looking forward to getting back on track, maybe today?

I was sour again this weekend, mostly getting bumped in the first leg and having the remaining correct, I really hate that. And today, Monday, I was busy until late afternoon with personal business, so no play, not sure yet on tomorrows agenda, but time permitting I'll try to squeeze in a game or two.

Good luck to everyone today in the 25,000$ game, would really enjoy seeing an SBR regular win it all.

Are you going to take a shot at it Daoil? I am going to pass. I am still working on my game over there. Going to play in the Survivor this morning a few h2h at this point.

I wonder who else is playing over there...today.

I won't be participating in the big game, the only way I could get involved is if I satellite in, unfortunately this didn't happen. Also, it should be added that to truly be effective in that type of tourney a player needs to have total focus without distraction, and this he needs above and beyond extraordinary handicapping skills.

Mike said in an earlier thread that he planned on taking 2-3 days of study in his effort to ready himself for today's contests, this is the kind of dedication it takes to be successful, and keep in mind that Mike has already proven himself to be a very good handicapper, as a result he has already scored well today and I would expect that he will do well later today also.

As for me, I'll stick to what's easy for me, trying to identify live runners and staying alive in the survivor games, again, good luck to those in the big game today.
