Group One Horse Promo - Best way to exploit with limited knowledge

Looking for some feedback from the horse guys here.

BetStar.com.au are offering double the payout on their fixed odds on all group 1 races during the Australian spring carnival. (Max $50 bet)

I have no fukking idea when it comes to horses - but i'm guessing taking out the top runner and a few of the bottom ones and throwing darts should be able to make money on this?

Any strategies that I can employ to increase the quality of my selections in this?

handicappers corner square. click blue horse in the category you like to view/print.i suggest these categories.regular program,raceday stats
(jockey & trainer stats),race analysis card(horses mentioned that pertain to several categories in the stat card & ranking numbers.),scratchings,usually appear an hour before post time.
you can also view the live card here,and,get scratches on the crawl,and also get their handicapping selections fron the tv hosts.
you should also review the glossary to familiarize your self with the lingo,and,track rankings,ie,M,metropolitan (top track),P,provincial (2nd
best),C,city (smaller tracks & fair meets.). hpoe this helps. good luck.

Thanks Dugbug hit into profit today with my first winner of the spring! Hoping to hit a couple more winners with four other races to come today. The race analysis card is really good and shows a lot of different ratings that they don't do in the standard Australian form guides.

Still certainly wouldn't be beating this stuff at the standard odds.
