They are playing Pittsburgh. They have packed it in for the season. But they have been playing decent. But Ottawa is just to strong to bet against with the type of team Pittsburgh is.

450 Units Metra? Im going to make a new rule to this Best bets thread. Max unit risk is 10 units a game. If you bet a 10 unit play, everyone will know you love that play.

Sorry, thats just why off the chart bud.

How can you know someone's bank roll? I never stated what 1 unit represented to me. 1 unit for me is 1$ CAD. Is there a problemo with that? Don't hate the player!

1 unit is equal to 1% of your bankroll whether it's $1 or $50,000

If your bankroll is $1000 then $10 would be 1 unit.

I'm not hating bud. I'm just trying to help you understand what a unit is.

                                No that's cool
I had read that 1 Unit did represent various things for different people. So yes 1 Unit is about 1$ CAD for me. Because my bank roll, whatever that is; is about $100. I generally started with $100 on the various recommended books. On that vancouver game, considering the push with Montreal; I decided to place $450 on that game; which is for me $450 CAD. I do not really have a bankroll. I am not sure really what is a bankroll. Is it like a limit of some sort? I do not have any limits; I play strong when I feel something coming; Like tonight Carolina; I will dump at least $250 CAD on that game. That would be 250 Units for me.

If your starting bankroll (account balance) is $100 and you grow it to say $500 then $5 would be one unit. It is kinda confusing, but another way to interpert "unit" is your average bet size. If you normally bet $20 a game then that would be 1 unit (units vary by the individual). If you really like a game and bet $100 then that would be a 5 unit play.

In short, a unit is normally 1% of your bankroll, but it can also be interperted as your average bet size. I hope this helps.

What if for example my bet varies from $10 - $500? What if also I do not really track $100 start to $500? How could I calculate my Unit Size representation properly? Should I track it that way? Generally I dump money on a book since I am new. Make some profit, make a withdrawal back to my cash flow. Is that a bad method of gambling?

I really did bet 94 units on that game I swear to
god. I bet more in football than any sport. I think
football is by far the easiest to cap. Next season
20 unit bets will not be uncommon. No more 94 though.

                                        LOL
