I like the Sharks so much tonight I'm making my largest wager ever on them $6400 (lots of juice -160) to win $4000.

I'm up over 6K in the last few days betting hockey, started with a $1600 bankroll and its now over $8000.

I bet my entire "profit" from this week on this game.

I'm no "investor" nor do I manage money well, but I do make a killing every once in a while, ( I also get killed now and then).

I agree here. I'm chasing some baseball losses I took today. I just can't see the Sharks losing both games at home. I watched game 1, and that 3rd period was total domination by the Sharks. Stars got lucky in OT as Nabokov lost his balance in net, which led to the Stars winning goal. I was on the Stars that night, so I cashed that bet, but I told myself I was going bigger than normal on the Sharks tonight.

I like Sharks in regulation, its a good bet if you dont want to pay the juice, but really like the Sharks. Im not going to play it, but it seems to be solid.

I didn't watch the whole game, but I saw the entire third period, and the Stars were outright dominated. Turco kept the Stars in the game. Plus, that OT winner by the Stars was lucky, Nabokov lost his footing in the net, resulting in the OT winner.

I like my chances with the Sharks tonight.

Dallas plays a straightforward "trap" style game agains San Jose, they aren't nearly as physical as San Jose nor do they have the speed of the Sharks.

I think they (Dallas) are already happy with a split [one win] on the road, look for the Sharks to come out strong early in this one.

I laid the -juice on this one because of the amount wagered, should the game go to O/T, I want the opportunity to win.

one thing i see is this:
stars are a top 5 nhl road team, and they have beaten the sharks more times this year than the sharks have beaten them

i know nothing about NHL whatsoever. I'd be hard pressed to name 5 players in the leasgue...but i am going to go with DAL. Too many guys on SJ and line movement lacking to support this. This is my rationale. I see this often in other sports. I'll give Dallas +150 a shot and hope for the best.

the paper here has joked that Dallas should change their name to the "San Jose Stars" they play so well in SJ. They've now won 8 of their last 9 trips to HP Pavilion.
