Got the right call on the Boston under but them losing messed everything up.

Adding 1 unit on TB/car over-110 and cal reg at -130.

Also going to add a unit to both the Toronto and Nashville play.

Went 2-4 yesterday unfortunately. I'm going big on Vancouver tonight and hope that does bite me in the behind. Also 2 small plays on the FLA/PIT game.

      Regular Record: 29-34-1
      Net gain/(loss): ($135.34); (5.41) units (where 1 unit = $25)

      Sunday 3/27/2011

Risking $75 to win $75: Canucks -0.5 even
      Risking $25 to win $50: Canucks -1.5 +200

The Canucks should win this game pretty easily even without Loungo. Personally, I don't think Loungo is that good. The last time the Canucks won in Columbus, Cory Schneider started anyway.

      Risking $25 to win $26.25: Fla/Pit U5 +105
      Risking $25 to win $19.23: Fla +1.5 -130

The Penguins always seem a bit flat on afternoon games and I actually like Vokoun is a good enough goalie to slow down whatever the Pens have left. Under looks good to me. As for the FL puckline, I'm subscribing to the recent trend that most of the Penguins wins are from OT and SO.

      Good luck all

Ka-Ching! Cashed on all 4 plays today with a big 6.82 units profit, which puts me back in the green. Woo hoo!
I like a couple plays on tommorrow's small card too. Just going lightly tomorrow until I get a few consistent winning nights.

          Regular Record: 33-34-1

          Risking $25 to win $23.53: Parlay Chicago+1.5 & Anaheim

Chicago needs the next 3 road wins badly. It's win or go home mentality. Detroit will still be missing Frazen, Datsyuk and possibly Jimmy Howard. This season the Wings have only beaten Chicago by a margin of one, so the puck line is pretty safe. As much as it pains my Chicago homer blood to see Anaheim win tomorrow, they will take care of business easily. They will not look past a lowly Colorado because they also need all the points they can get.

Risking $12.50 to win $13.75: Chicago ML +110
          Risking $12.50 to win $15.00: Anaheim -1/5 +120

Small 2-1 winning night last night, although the Ducks definitely gave me a scare. I thought the night was ruin when I went to bed after the first period. Fortunately, the Ducks came back and salvaged my parlay.

            Regular Record: 35-35-1Net gain/(loss): $59.92; 2.40 units (where 1 unit = $25)

Unfortunately, I have not been able to spend as much time as I like researching on tonight's games, so I'm going to tread lightly again. Apart from the plays below, I also lean slightly on the Blackhawks and Canucks, but the lines smell of a trap. I might parlay the PL later. We'll see.

Risking $25 to win $21.74: Sabres ML -115
The Sabres know this team well and are 9-2 in Toronto.

            Underdog Round Robin Parlay
Risking $10 to win $41.00: Flyers ML & Kings PL

Risking $10 to win $45.00: Flyers ML & Blues PL
Risking $10 to win $60.13: Blues PL & Kings PL

Pretty much broke even last night as one of my parlays hit. Not bad for a day where I didn't get much time to spend on capping. Tonight, I'm all over the Rangers and Devils.

              Regular Record: 36-38-1
              Net gain/(loss): $55.92; 2.24 units (where 1 unit = $25)

              Wednesday 3/30/2011

Risking $25 to win $26.25: Rangers ML +105
Risking $25 to win $27.50: NYR/BUF U5 +110 Both the Rangers and the Sabres know what is at stake and will be playing play-off hockey. The Rangers are rested and the Sabres are playing back to back in a hard fought game yesterday. Go with the Rangers and Under.

Risking $25 to win $16.13: Devils ML -155 The Devils dominate this series and should come up with the win tonight. Close games is just the way the Devils play, so I'm not comfortable with the PL or a regulation time win. Have to lay the wood on this one.

2-1 winning night yesterday. Tonight I'm only going to play in the Nashville and Rangers game. The rest seem iffy to me.

                Regular Record: 38-39-1
                Net gain/(loss): $74.55; 2.98 units (where 1 unit = $25)

                Risking $40 to win $36.36: Preds -0.5 (reg) -110
Risking $10 to win $20.00: Preds PL +200
The last time I best against the Avs I had a scare, but I like Pekka Rinne's goaltending skills better than that of the Ducks. Two units on the Preds tonight. Probably best to get in early on this one. The line is only going to go up

Risking $25 to win $18.52: Rangers ML -135
                Risking $25 to win $27.50: NYR/MYI O5.5 +110
Yeah, the Rangers played yesterday but the Rangers typically dominate the Islanders. They are also tethering at the bottom of the playoff list so they need as many points as they can get.
Ranger/Islander games usually go over 7 so I'm going give the over tonight a shot.

I'm going to say it again. Damnit Rangers! Oh well, I also almost cashed the Nashville puckline bonus play if not for Colorado's late goal. Can't complain though, I did come away with a profitable night unit-wise.

Tonight, I was going to go heavy on the Devils but then I noticed that Brodeur is resting. Instead, I'll just put a unit to satisfy my gut instinct.

I also like Chicago ML or -0.5 but I'll wait to see the line. The Over on that game is also tempting as CHI/CLB games go over 80% of the time. However, if the Blackhawks are serious about their playoff push, then they will clamp down on defense.

Adding one unit each for Chicago reg -130 and U5.5 -110. The under is a bit gutsy but if you think chicago is going to win, the under is the way to go.

The under is really gutsy in this game, especially with the matchup of Crawford vs Garon. Crawford is 0-2-0 with a 3.56 GAA in 2 starts against Columbus this year, and Garon is 0-1-0 with a 3.80 GAA over 2 appearances against the Hawks this year.

                          GL though!

Yeah the under is definitely gutsy, but consider that the last 8 games the Blackhawks have gone under, including the 0-5 whooping from Dallas.

A guess it was a little too gutsy after all. At least NJ cashed so I went 1-2 and didn't hurt too bad. I might pass tomorrow and just enjoy college ball.

Tough loss yesterday after such a great start from the Preds. I also didn't realize Jimmy Howard was back. My bad.

Today I'm leaning towards Detriot, Chicago and maybe the Rangers despite them burning me twice this week. They need a win or it's missing the playoffs again. The Flyers are just as erratic but they are at least in the playoffs. Hmm....

Alright. After much deliberation, I'm going with Flames in regulation @ even for 3 units, Chicago in reg -115 for 1 unit and Detriot in reg -150 for 1 unit.

Went 2-2 over the weekend with a small profit unit-wise primarily thanks to the Flames.

For tomorrow, the Bruins/Rangers game is a toss up and the Sharks should win the later game but I don't feel comfortable laying the wood. Since I don't really like either games tomorrow so I'm going to pass and watch the NCAA finals instead.

Yes, I did say I am passing today and I'm sticking to it. However, I did have some time to look at tomorrow's games and have a few plays. Barring any unexpected injury announcements, there shouldn't be any problems getting in early.

Risking $50 to win $40.00: Blues (reg) -125
Both the Avs and the Blues have nothing but pride to play for. The only difference is that the Blues are actually producing.

                                        Risking $25 to win $28.75: Lightning +115
Tampa impressive me last night and I like them to ride the momentum to another win. This one might be close and may be decided in OT or SO. Another option is to go with an TB+0.5 in regulation or a TB PL & STL ML parlay

Lastly, I also like the Columbus/Dallas game to go over. There's no line right now, but I would put 1 or 2 units if the odds are -130 or better.

In addition to the plays above, I'm adding 1 unit for CLB/DAL O5.5 +110

I hit my big play but lost my two small ones and ended up with a small losing night. Ugh.

                                            Regular Record: 44-47-1
                                            Net gain/(loss): $81.82; 3.27 units (where 1 unit = $25)

Tomorrow, I'm leaning towards Sharks ML +105, Det ML -110 and EDM ML +250 or the PL.

LA is my big play tonight and I have 3 small plays.

                                              Risking $50 to win $40.00: Kings -125
Risking $25 to win $31.25: Kings in reg +125
Both teams jockeying for playoff position here, but I have to go with the home team. Also, I expect Quick to come up with a better showing after being embarrased by the Sharks.

                                              Risking $20 to win $16.67: Oilers +1.5 -120
Risking $5 to win $15.75: Oilers in reg +315
The Flames are fighting to make it into the post season, but it won't be easy as the Oilers are playing tough hockey. Don't be surpised if the Oilers win outright

Risking $25 to win $21.74: Sharks ML -115
Risking $25 to win $22.73: Red Wings ML -110

Well the Kings came the but all my other plays were way off. All in all, terrible night. Going to go easy tonight with only one play.

2 units on the Rangers in regulation.

                                                Wish me luck!
