With Andrew Raycroft starting for the Buds Tuesday in which is a must win for the Sabres to have any hope of keeping their fading playoff chances alive, I believe with great enthusiasm that the Sabres are going to really pick up their intensity level against a Maple Leaf team that is more interested right now in booking tee times.

The Sabres playoff hopes exist only in fantasyland. They must win their remaining 3 games and one of the 3 teams ahead of them must lose every game for Buffalo to get into post season play.

These two teams have shown very little heart when it really mattered. This will likely be a shinny game, I doubt there will be much defense or hitting.

I'll try the over, Raycroft has been brutal, Buffalo might score 6 by themselves.

The fact that Raycroft is playing is already factored into the line so there is no value at all in playing the Sabres in this game.

For the same reason as the discussion we had about Chicago being favored on the road against Columbus last week. There is rarely any value laying a negative number like this with a bad team on the road. Of course this doesn't mean Buffalo isn't going to win this game, but over the course of time, doing this consistently is going to cost you far more than you are ever going to win.
