Being a Hurricanes fan i'll chime in here. There is no question the 'Canes are playing some of their best hockey of the year, and over the last 10-15 games, some of the best hockey in the league. But generally speaking they struggle on the road versus Eastern Conference non divisional opponents. They also struggle mightily in Buffalo, having dropped their last 3 in the HSBC Center. Saying that, Buffalo seems to be on their last gasp, injuries beginning to take their toll and even Ryan Miller, who is usually rock solid is showing signs of wearing down. If i was playing the game no question i'd be on Carolina, however i think the line is about where it should be and i don't believe that it's a trap with it currently sitting at +109.

Went to Carib (www.caribsports.com, click on Player Picks) to check sentiment, and I found that 70% are on the Hurcs, which I don't find extreme here. Contrast that with the 95% who are taking the Sharks tonight, or the 94% who were on Nashville (who lost) yesterday.
My view is that if the Hurcs show up at all, they should beat this team handily. If I lose my $100 I'm putting on it, I can live with that.

This is only the 3rd time I've taken Carolina all year, and everytime I do they absolutely bomb
