Montreal has been a good road team thanks to offense. But right now their defense is horrible. They've dropped three of their last five, allowing 3+ goals in all of those games. New York is playing great defense. They have won six of eight games, holding opponents in the six wins to 2 goals or less. Overall they are giving up just 2.0 goals per game over the stretch. They are 7-2 at home due to their great defensive play here. Montreal is just 5-17 since last season on the road vs. teams that conver 17.5%+ of their power play opportunities. I like New York's chances of holding Montreal down and notching a win.

No regulation time losses within their division and a 6-3 record on the road, Minnesota without Demitra and Koivu; Sanford finally gets a start and team should tighten up around him. At this price, worth a shot.

Thrashers are .500 on the road, and are 8-2 in last 10 games with six of those away from home. They have also scored three or more goals in nine of their last 10 games. Capitals 2-6at home and lost their last six within the division.
Ottawa, -1.5 at +190.
Just like playing offensive teams in this spot, and Ottawa has only one loss on the road. Four of six road games by two or more goals.
