Los Angeles - Edmonton: Crazy series so far. Kings were a couple minutes aways from a 3-0 series lead and the next game less than a minute from a 3-1 games lead. LA were they better team in all 4 games. Then game 5 happened. Oilers dominated the Kings in LA in game 5 right from the opening whistle. Can LA stop the momentum? Could be 6-2 Edmonton or 4-3 Kings. I will take a shot that LA will find a way and we have a game 7.

I don't get how the Kings turned to a defensive shell in the 3rd period of game 3. They simply stopped skating and just started dumping the puck out of the D-Zone. NOt taking anything away from the Oilers for their comeback. But the LA coach should answer for it.

Also, the HC got bad advice on the tying goal to challenge it. He lost of course, the goal counted, and the Oilers score in 10 seconds on the ensuing PP. Just like that, it was over.

Carolina / Washington: Caps only managed 14 shots on goal in game 1 but still managed to get it into OT even though they lost. I am guessing the Caps come out hard in game 2 and even the series. 4-3 Washington.

It's truly one of the weirdest things in sports. He wasn't pulled all season long and pulled 4X these playoffs so far. Ya, he could meltdown again no doubt or he can play like he has all season and like he did in game 2. Coin toss and taking the VIG with fingers crossed.
