am making a little pool just for fun.

Rank every team from each conference (1 to 8) 8 being the team most likely you think will make it to the Stanley cup finals and 1 is the rank given to the team the least likely to make it into the finals.

Scoring:

The rank you give your teams that advance to the next round will be added toward your point total.

 buf (7), nyr (4), ott(3), atl(6) all advance so your total pts from 1st round = 20 pts
 nyr (4), atl(6) advance to next round so your total pts from 2nd round = 10pts + 1st round (20pts) =30 pts overall
 nyr (4) advance to next round so your total pts from 3rd round= 4pts + 1st round (20pts) + 2nd round (10pts) = 34 pts
 do the same thing for western conference (17pts) + (10pts) + (3pts) = 30 pts and add your points up.
 Est conf (30pts) + West conf (30pts) = 60pts
 Winner for the cup Dallas (3pts)
 Your TOTAL pts 63.
 For the tie breaker , choose the number of games the Stanley cup final series will go to and the number of goals scored on the last game of the 2007 satanley cup finals.
