Let's go Canada. McDavid was pretty good game one and Oilers were a better team despite losing. 4-2 Edmonton.

I expect (once again) Edmonton will win the next game . But I will say; ' Bouchard would be long gone after this series if they lose.'. What a choke. He has been a total bust.

Connor is a beast. But I am so tired of seeing him scudder about like a rooster-roach all over, up and back, in and out, to the left, to the right etc and get nothing done. Half the time he tries passing the puck through the middle and guess what.?.

I feel your pain Dwight. Florida come's out hitting and so far, (it's not over by any means) Edmonton has no answer.

I play golf with Eddie O's cousin and he keeps saying Florida will sweep and I keep telling him no way. But I wouldn't bet him.

I'm actually rooting for Edmonton. So don't take this as a beat down. Just an observation.

I am no fan of the Oilers so no pain for me. Heading into the finals, as a hockey fan, I really didn't know who I'd be rooting for. But I will admit I am rooting for the Oilers.

I didn't take it as a beat down lol. If you talk shit about the Canucks however, we will have a problem you and I!

I think the Oilers can still win this series. They definitely were the better team in Game 1. They should have their split heading back to Alberta but Bob was outstanding. Game 2, the Panthers did play much better but Edmonton still could have won that one. I am not blaming the refs, but that delay of the game call was missed which would have given the Oilers a 2-man advantage for almost 2 minutes. They score and its a different game. It could easily be 1-1 or 2-0 Edmonton but the puck luck hasn't been there so far.

Shania Twain will be perforating outside the arena for both Edmonton home games and the crowd will be pumped. Edmonton will win game 3 and there will be a ton of goals.

          Game 3 in Edmonton.

Oilers are unlucky at minimum not being tied 1-1 heading into game 3. I am guessing they will come out flying tonight with 3 or 4 goals in the first on route to a 6-3 victory.

I'm with you today. If it is a loss for Edmonton, I'd say they are in trouble. I don't think they are in trouble until then. Losing the first two away games is actually expected.

Edmonton might be a little soft. I won't count them out just yet.

Do the Oilers have it in them to bring the Panthers back to Edmonton for game 6 Friday? Probably not but ya never know. I am guessing they will. Here's my thoughts. In game 3 where the Oilers fell 4-3, they really didn't look anything like the team that made it to the Finals, but the last 7 or 8 minutes of the 3rd, they did. They were down 4-1 and started to dominate. They looked like they believed they could beat them and they almost did it it weren't for an amazing save by Bob with seconds left.

If this goes in, we probably have a 2-2 series right now. The Oilers did everything but tie it up late in game 3.

The Panthers must be grabbing their sticks a little tighter now, while Edmonton are full of confidence.

Edmonton started the season terribly, fired their coach after a few games, and the racked up 16 wins in a row. When they get on a roll, they are tough.
Can Florida win the Cup tonight? Ya of course. Will they? I am guessing they will. Not!

an other great NHL season ends tonight.

                            Training camp in September
                            Regular season in October
                            Champion Late June

It comes down to a one-game winner-take-all for Lord Stanley's Cup.

Oilers lost 3 games in a row 3 times during the regular season after firing their Coach in November. The first time, they won 8 in a row afterwards, the second time they won 16 in a row, and the third time five. I other words, they have never won less than 5 in row after losing 3 with the new guy behind the bench. Looks like a good bet they will win their 4th in a row tonight. Or it could be 4-0 Panthers. Who knows.

In game 5, an outstanding save by Skinner

I am sticking with the hot team and guessing they will pull it off tonight. Edmonton 4 Florida 2 (empty netter)
