Phil you'll get back on track.

I don't like this type of dog ML and the +1.5 spread at the same time personally. Choose one. But in this specific game, I'll agree it has a good chance to win...like the Rangers myself also.

Just to explain quick. Let's assume you're laying 1 unit on the +125, plus 2.10 units on the +1.5. So 3.10 units to win 2.25 total.

    Possible results:

Rangers lose by 2 or more goals = net loss of 3.10 units.

If you split, meaning Rangers lose by exactly 1 goal, you'll break even.

If the Rangers win, your money is much better spent on the ML (obviously). Say you put the 3.10 units all on the ML @ +125. A win nets you 3.875 units (instead of 2.25 units net the way you're playing it).

Explaining for any readers, not directed at you so much. Don't take this the wrong way, just my two cents.

But if you can't fully pull the trigger on the dog ML, it's not a confident pick.

I hear you...hotcross…. I have had a terrible start this year on my posted plays...So just trying to get on the right side of the money/winners quik…. yes I think the Rangers win but as a insurance to cover the money line I am playing the +1.5 because I think its going to come down to a one point game...Devils are a overtime friendly team....
