Nashville Predators wins tonight

According to the gambler's fallacy!

They lost 6 in a row (10 in a row on the road - AFTER winning the first 8 in a row!) as a top team, c'mon. We all know that victory is lurking just around that corner.

I agree and am on the Preds myself. Don't get me wrong, I know the Caps are tough to beat, especially on home ice. I also don't think Nashville are entitled to a victory just because they have lost 6 in a row, but they will play hard and as a top team will battle to get back on track.
