Good morning,

Well, nothing going on until Thursday. That's probably a good thing.

I understand why posters vent when we lose, but as I have said many times before, gambling is no different than life..... there's ups and there's downs. Think about it. The stock market goes up, it goes down. Businesses go up they go down. (sometimes out of business). I can't think of too many things where over time there is not a high and a low. It's like a swinging pendulum.

For this reason, it's imperative to use prudent money management. If one is playing only 3% of their BR on each Regular play, then since Monday Dec 17 you're down only 3% plus juice. Don't get me wrong, I never like to lose, but if 3% of your bankroll is going to change your lifestyle, than you are in the wrong business, and this is a business for me.

Therefore................

The best book I have ever read and continue to refer to many times through out the years, is "Don't Sweat The Small Stuff" "and it's All Small Stuff" by Richard Carlson. It's a must read IMHO. I mention this, since he writes about the ups and downs of life and I personally like to apply his philosophy for this business.

Anyway, that's enough bloviating for the day. I hope everyone enjoys their Christmas, or whatever holiday your celebrating, and we will be back on Thursday.

PS: For those interested I have been fine tuning my NCAABB thread and even though we are still tracking this new system, it's at 44-26 (62%) and I think I have found a filter to cut back on the amount of plays, and hopefully eliminate some losers. https://www.sportsbookreview.com/for...unders-p2.html
