Side With Stars at Sharks

Dallas' better defense gives the Stars the advantage tonight when they visit San Jose to face the Sharks.
Today the Dallas Stars will be on the road as they take on the San Jose Sharks. We will side with the Stars!
Both of these teams enter this game with solid offenses with the Stars averaging 3.4 goals per game and the Sharks averaging 4.2 goals per game. As you can see, it's not offense that separates these two teams.
What separates these two teams is the defensive talent that both they bring to the game. There is no doubt that the Stars bring more defensive talent than do the Sharks. Not only do the Stars have the much better defense, but they also have the much better overall team.
We don't mind siding with the Stars today on the road as they are 30-17 as road underdogs in the last two seasons. The Stars are also 20-8 in their last 28 games as an underdog. The value is clearly with the undefeated (5-0 on the season) Stars.
