    Love the Stars tonight
No need to comment on my excellent pun.

But they are definitely the hungrier team tonight, I believe they are in a better position to take this game. Their play the last two games has been excellent to say the least. The line should be much more in favor of the penguins but it sits at -145 on bovada currently.

I really believe the stars are TRYING to make a run to put themselves into a position to where they can make the playoffs. They just hurt minnesotas chances, who currently sit in the final spot, 7 points above the stars.

Plus, a 7-1 win probably didnt take much out of a confident stars squad.

    Take Dallas Stars ML +125

    I
won't be hurt if the penguins win, I happen to be a fan.

Two hot teams.. Pens MUCH MUCH hotter.. if you want to take anything it would be an over until the pens can start to develop some sort of transition defense.

Im sure he didn't mean that they are "hot" necessarily, but rather the past two games were impressive.

I just have a strong feeling its a game that pittsburgh can let slip, while it would do great things for dallas and possibly send them on a hot streak. This is something the stats wont tell you. I completely understand your angle laying money on the pens though, they are a great team that can score. And the previous meetings would agree with you.

nah, i don't know, it's not like they had an especially bad game in dal
somewhere in the back of their minds, they may be thinking that this is about as good as they are and still get blown out

It was a situation pick, when they say cruise control they mean it. The pens don't have to work hard against teams they don't see as threats. They want to beat better teams to keep ahead of them instead. But back to the drawing board today.

                And thank you, kevin
