Big Juice Tuesday turned into big loss Tuesday(1-3), should've went 2-2 if not for LA's collapse in the 3rd period. A San Jose ML live bet softened the blow, but that won't really be counted here.

Have somewhat of a system play tonight (Vancouver), the first of the year, and I also like a road dog (Columbus).

After Tuesdays loss I feel hesitant laying the juice. But it must be done.

Summary

One full week of NHL action has been completed and I'm happy to report I'm on the plus side to start things off.

As seen below, my (1*)standard/default plays are off to a slow start, this should pick up as the NHL season wears on (hopefully) and I get a better feel of things. And my maximum(5*) plays are off to a great start. You won't be seeing too much of the five stars, you have to pick your spots extra carefully for those in particular.

My wagering goals are to win 3 units a week, right through the entire year. That would equal well over 100u a year. It's a daily grind, but having a plan is better than having no plan. It keeps you focused and disciplined. Winning 10+ units this week meets my weekly goal, and even covers the next two weeks, infact it almost covers an entire month of winners (12 units). Gives me real reason to not look for action just for the sake of action as I'm already ahead!

Very smart. Discipline and some sort of Bankroll management plan is what makes betting on sports go from gambling to investing. Really the only difference, imo, between putting money in the stock market and putting money on sports, is the time it takes to see a return or loss on your investment. Instead of waiting months or years you only have to wait minutes. Bettors with no plan or discipline, are the ones that chase losses, put too much on a single bet, and in the end find themselves with a drinking problem and empty pockets for all their time and effort. Theres alot more people like that out there than there are people like you, and thats why "gambling" is stigmatized by the public. Sorry for the rant but its just refreshing to see posters doing it right.

Not much I like today. Had a lean on Ottawa until it was confirmed Spezza would be out. San Jose remain a possibility, if the Flyers win I will contemplate putting the winnings on the Sharks, so we'll see. Not expecting much today, I'm already looking at the days ahead. Will put my focus on NBA tomorrow, but the Coyotes at home against the Oilers looks enticing.

Was thinking about SJ ML but I couldn't do it, Anaheim will play them heavy, and with San Jose missing a couple of key puck moving defenseman, look for SJ to tighten their team defensive play to make up for the loss. Basically I'm expecting a tight checking hockey game between pacific division rivals.

Looking at tomorrow's card, I'll be drinking juice using my NBA winnings earned today(4-0 +8.00 maybe I should start posting those plays too) on San Jose against Edmonton. Everything about this game qualifies this as a 2* star play for me, the price to pay is -200, so I'll lock it in now. I'm currently fading Colorado this road trip, so tomorrow I'll be on Calgary -145 for 1x.

Lots of high scoring games tonight. After researching the LA-NSH game more tonight, I'm comfortably selecting the Kings to defeat the Nashville Predators. This will be to win two units. Thought about playing the OVER in the SJ game but I decided to hold off and focus on tonight's LA-NSH matchup.

Get rid of Kessel for a #1 C, sign character players, develop a #1 goalie or trade for one. The hell with it, tear it all down and rebuild with a GM who has a proven track record.
