Second leg of home and home between the Panthers and the Rangers. New York took the first meeting 4-3 in shootout in Florida. The Rangers blew a 3-2 lead late in the third period Friday night.

The Rangers have outscored the Panthers 51-24 to win 11 of last 14 meetings at MSG. The Panthers are banged up and missing 3 of their top scorers. I think the Rangers can outscore the Panthers again this afternoon. More fire power. Florida a poor road team, the Rangers a strong home team. I like the Rangers chances.

The Edmonton Oilers will try to build something from a 4-2 win yestersay in St-Louis.

The Dallas Stars are coming from 6-2 loss against San Jose. The Stars lost puck moving defensman Sergei Zubov.

Dallas netminder Marty Turco is really struggling and can't keep the puck out of the net right now. Losing steady defenseman Sergei Zubov won't help. Stars defensive corps is really suspect and create too many turnovers.

The Oilers are sending rookie goalie Jeff Drouin-Deslauriers in goal today.

Oddsmakers posting a total of 5 1/2 goals today. I like the over chances. Dallas have been involved in high scoring games. Any posted totals under 6 goals right now with Marty Turco in goal looks good. The Oilers scored 4 goals in last 2 periods yesterday. I also think Dallas can get a few past Drouin-Deslauriers.
