    Light The Lamp: 11.22
    Season Record: 14-12-1

The old modest back-2-back wins. Some call it a streak, I say we'll call it streak after making it 3 straight tonight.

    Capitals/Sharks OVER 5.5. (Even)
Probable goalies are Brent Johnson for WAS and Brian Boucher for SJ. Outside shot Nabokov could be back though. You've got two of the top scoring clubs in the league meeting here. The Caps average 3.3 goals per game, while the Sharks average 3.5. In the last 3 games, the Caps have had issues defensive and in goal, allowing 15 goals. Brent Johnson started just one of those, a 5-2 loss last time out vs. LA. Fortunately, the offense has had to keep up with the porous D and has tallied 13 goals in that same span. In fact, the two goal output vs. LA ruined a streak of 7 straight with at least 3 goals for the Caps offense. The Washington PK unit has been bit at least once in 6 of the last 7 and that should have a powerful San Jose PP unit licking its chops. The Sharks have scored 12 PP goals in their last five games in 34 shifts. This Sharks club has been cruising offensively with 21 goals in their last 5, including a couple of 6 goal games. The Caps PP unit has scored at least once in 5 straight and will challenge a Sharks PK unit that is usually pretty solid on home ice. Injury note: Caps likely to be without top scorer Alexander Semin again, but could get Sergei Federov back. Semin has missed the last 3, Caps still averaging over 4 goals per game without him. Expect a Shark Attack tonight and CAP-italize on the punny goodness of some extra $$$ in your pocket with this one.

I'll not be betting on this game. I was listening to talk radio and the Sharks are going to really try to shut down #8. The Ducks tried to also and got worked, but the Sharks have a better D. That being said I like the bet because the Sharks score allot also. But I will stay away and hopefully not jinx your wadger(Also I'll be watching the King's game live)
