Vegas Dave's 2nd NHL Pick w/ Write Up This Year
Won the last one, Kings/Ducks OVER 5.5 back near the beginning of the season.

Tonight: Take the OVER 5.5 in Washington/Los Angeles

LA has been slumping on offense over the last few games and it has caused coach Terry Murray to mix the lines up. I pay attention to Kings practice squads and the new lines are MUCH, MUCH better.

    Before Tonight:

    #1: Calder Kopitar Brown
(Calder is a 3rd line type guy and had no business being on this line at all... he was there more out of superstition since the Kings were winning. He is a 3rd line grinder type that totally brought down Brown and Kopitar, killing our #1 line.

    #2 Frolov Stoll Moller
(Solid line, only line with chemistry out there)

    #3 O'Sullivan Boyle Harrold
(One of the Kings best all around players, O'Sully, with a rookie (Boyle) and a defenseman-turned-winger... O'Sully looks great fighting for pucks and setting things up, but his line mates were useless, making this line terrible)

    #4 Ivanans, Handzus, Simmonds
(Handzus and Simmonds have good chemistry on an energy producing line, and this line was great offensively earlier in the season with Frolov. With fighter/lead hands thug Ivanans on this line, all offensive capability went down the drain.)

Terrible line combinations that I was complaining about even when we were winning. The new lines...

    #1 O'Sullivan, Kopitar, Brown
(3 of our absolute best offensive players, had great chemistry last year, VERY REAL SCORING THREAT with Calder off this line)

    #2 Frolov Stoll Moller
    (Still Solid)

    #3 Calder Handzus Simmonds
(Much better than Ivanans, this is where Calder belongs and he and Handzus have shown chemistry in the past... this should work)

    #4 Ivanans Boyle Armstrong
(This line will suck, but won't get much ice time. Harrold is moved back to defense)

These new lines, coupled with Washington's terrible defense and goaltending, WILL result in 4 to 5 Kings goals.

And even with Semin out, Washington is such a fast team and so strong on the PP that they will find the net a few times.

Should definitely be 6 goals in this game. Play the OVER.

(And if you feel like gambling, parlay it with the Kings ML, I believe they are the pick tonight. But the OVER is definitely the play).

    Good luck!
