i like the idea of this contest, we should make a weekly version

...so contest points for signups go to the creator? Shouldn't they be held in some form of escrow?

I'm moving all of the posts that are irrelevant to this contest out of this thread.

If a poster doesn't wish to participate in the contest, that's their own prerogative.

The Point Entry Fee in this contest is held by SBR; nobody is in danger of not receiving any winnings.

Lou, I understand where your coming from, but don't you also think people have the right to know info on the person running the contest? Especially when he benefits from it by receiving part of their entry fee? Granted, now that his contests are thru SBR and the point prizes are held safe, people should have all the info and make their own decisions on who and/or what they would like to support.

He receives no portion of the entry fee and has no control over prizing. The software will automatically distribute prizing at the conclusion of the contest based on the # of entries. The exact distribution formula is as follows:

Members 1-9
1st: 100%

Members 10-19
1st: 60%
2nd: 25%
3rd: 15%

Members 20-49
1st: 50%
2nd: 20%
3rd: 15%
4th: 10%
5th: 5%

Members 50+
1st: 30%
2nd: 20%
3rd: 14%
4th: 9%
5th: 7%
6th: 6%
7th: 5%
8th: 4%
9th: 3%
10th: 2%

You said the first 6 no longer counted. Nothing against you. If that isn't the case, I will reconsider.

Although there was another bracket contest that you were going to do that never happened and all those people need to be refunded also. You were offering the one that started with 16 (the double points one) and another one that was going to be a 64 person field. I believe there were 47 people registered and it never happened. It just disappeared from everyone's contest lists. That does need to be address.
