Odds of team winning both halves?
What are the odds that a favored team wins both halves, as opposed to winning just 1 or none of them?

A good first approximation is to convert the mascot's name into hexadecimal code, sum the digits and divide by the next day's tide table at nearest coast.

Not sure the point of the question, as the answer relies heavily on the specific spread, but here is the answer for all lined games from 06-07 thru 10-11:

Home Faves: 11816 games, 40.93% home fave won both halves
Road Faves: 4068 games, 32.89% road fave won both halves

Discrepancy is mostly due to Home faves being, on average, favored by 6 to 6.5 points more than road faves.
