Profiting on parlays is no different than single bets.

Simply pick 2 sides at around even money, that win, and get a 250% return on your money. Or,

Pick like 8 heavy money line faves sure to win, that do win, and double your money. Or,

At this time of year, use 3 Leagues and pick an underdog (I first look for a puck line in the NHL), and one solid favorite (I first look at a Bowl Game), and one even money play (this being like your play of the day)in a 3-Team Par, and get like 600% return on your money.

Two solid reasons to play parlays:

          1) There is a correlation between two or more legs. This is a 'difficult' subject and don't expect any detail to be divulged in a thread like this.
          2) To circumvent limits on straight bets.

I like to find parlays that win more often than the odds suggest.

Parlays are for people with low bankroll. They want to have a shot of bigger capital to wager on straight bets after hitting the parlay. If they lost $50 on the parlay its okay for them, they will try next time. Typically its at optimum to put down 5-game spread parlays with each average odds 1.90, netting $2500-$3000 from $100. Forget about 8-10 game ML parlay, they are not optimum. More often upsets happen on 1.20-1.30 odds.

Thanks for that article, as there is some material on Parlays that I hadn't considered before.
                  Now how about Teasers?

from a psychological standpoint, parlays that are manageable (<= 5 teams) will most likely engender a more discriminate nature in selecting games, and if your methods are sound you can isolate only games that will have a better chance of winning

Grab 2 or 3 picks you feel really confident with and parlay them. Depending on the odds you should be getting a nice return if you can hit a few that were big ml faves.
