    Estimated Decimal Odds
I've got an NHL handicapping spreadsheet that gives me win probabilities that I'd like to convert to estimated odds. Currently the "true odds" are calculted as 1/winprob. How do I tweak the formula to account for vig?

    Thanks guys.

Why would you want to account for vig?

If you have a win probability of 50.00% on one side, any odds better than 2.00 is +EV, anything 2.00 or worse isn't.

      1/(winprob * (1+vig%))

          Sorry to be a pain.

          So for a standard 10% vig, it would be 1/(winprob * (1+.1))

Anyone know what OLG charges for Proline/SportSelect? I know it's high.

Standard vig is not 10%. -110 (1.909) lines equate to a vig of 4.76%

So how would that look in the formula?

              1/(winprob * (1+.0476)) ???
