    nba sharps - have there been any NBA rule changes since 2007?
    curious if anything substantial has changed in the nba since 07 season compared to now, maybe even style of play

    feels like games are lower scoring

    on average teams have scored just around 100 ppg over the past 4 years, this year they are scoring on average 99.7 ppg so no real difference in the total scoring...hope this helps

      I agree.
      0.3 ppg are in total the points of a single game.

        Here are the recent yearly avearage tempo numbers.
        This season's pace seems to be on par. Last year was very fast, a number of teams played much faster than this season. Perhaps, the fact that two of those teams have a new coach this season played a certain role.
