    steam?
    the mavs got hit at +3 to +2.5 at pinny and cris today but The Greek didn't move from 3. the mavs won outright. does anyone know why the greek doesn't move off steam. Spiro should be bankrupt by now

            Don't have to follow the market.... they can just track to their individual handle. Why move on air if you have a positive imbalance (ie they've taken 65% of wagers on -3). Yes it is additional risk ... but why not take a stand?

                  "Fair line" meaning what the line theoretically should be. If the line should be +2.5, i.e. 50% of the time that team will lose by 2, 1 or win the game, and 50% of the time the team will lose by 3 or more, the book still makes money booking +3 at -110 because the 3 will only push a bit less than 4% of the time.
