What if there is no EVEN bet?
I keep hearing to place a bet, pick a side, and get even money. My question is what if you cannot find the even market, based on the number of subscriptions to sportsbooks?

Not sure exactly what you are talking about, but generally when someone says 'even money', they mean +100 odds, where your 'risk' amount is the same as your 'to win' amount.

Yes, this is what I mean. But what I was asking is if the team you think will win at -110 or something like that. Is this ill-advised?

So you wanted to bet a team at +100 but everywhere you looked it was only available at -110?

No sportsbook is going to offer +100 on both sides of a bet; you might find +100 on one side and -120 the other, or +100 on one side and -110 on the other, or even +100 and -101 on the other (often at Matchbook near game time, commission not included, which is a conversation for another day). Are you familiar with what 'vig' or 'juice' is? If not, read this: http://www.ogpaper.com/news/what-is-...ig-260209.html

Great source. Thank you so much. Once I learn how to award points, I'll send some your way.
