So here is my thought. Not a very experienced bettor either so maybe I have no idea what I'm talking about but here is my two cents. I am looking at doing some 4 Team 13 Point Teasers (-120), betting the Side and Total from 2 games. For example tonight I am looking at Carolina (16.5) and the Under (47), and Oakland(16.5) and the Under (47). Since the talent level is so close in Pre Season games as starters normally don't play more than the 1st quarter or so, there is less time for the talent to seperate itself. 2nd and 3rd stringers from both teams are usually just as good is what I am getting at. It seems that the scores are close and all you need is the Total to be low, and if it hits the Under, its highly likely that the score is close. I am thinking about doing this a lot in the Pre Season this year, can anybody comment on if Im an idiot or not?? Just seems like a good play? Thanks guys!

#2Just so you know what you're up against. Each leg must win at an 85.9% rate just to BE. If you just teased the dogs +1 to +3 you'd get 334-45-4 (probably ties lose), for 87.2%. All unders teased 13 points 749-143-12 for 84.2%.
You might have some fun with it, if you're selective, and a little lucky, who knowsComment -

#3Ummmm.....what??? Does the rationing make sense though? If its under its probably going to be within that 16 point range right?? Like I said, not very with it when it comes to this stuff??Comment -

#6You are better off doing 2-team 6 point teasers for even money. Bill the cop posted some #'s but basically look for dogs and try to cross the 3 and 7 with the 6 points. Ex: Look for +1.5 to +2.5 dogs and get them up to where even if they lose by a TD you still cash. +3 to +9 also has proven to be a good bet according to his #'s. Those big teasers certainly look good (they are supposed to) but there is always one leg that fucks up the whole thing, plus the 20 cent juice doesn't help your case either.

#7do not bet those 13 point teasers unless it is for fun. you cannot win long term unless you are lucky. stick with the 6 pointers like the guys said.Comment
