Football coin toss...

Seeking a database or website that has receive/defer statistics when a Coach/Team/Program wins the coin toss. (Home/Away, etc) (Coach is most important.)

Any info is appreciated. (Or costs to procure such a database)

I have actually thought of going to fan forums and asking about their coin toss result(s) and decision(s) over the past season. (Some diehards would remember this stuff.) It would simply be soooo time consuming.

I dont have the database
but I know from a friend.. in stats

that it favors the coach to defer over the long haul, helps them gain extra possessions which lead to more poits and towards better wining %. But its all in theory since no oe has done it, the psychological value of getting the ball first may prove to be important (equally important)

Filter, is that from the company Stats or some statistician?

For the NFL, you can derive who won the toss from the play-by-play info in the gamebooks at NFL.com; it would take a lot of time tho. I have not seen any such info in any db.
