Hey guys, I've been lurking here and thought it was time to join in. So here I am, asking your opinion on something. In MLB, a team's season tends to be streaky. When you're going with the ML, do you tend to bet with the streak, or do you figure they're due for a change and bet against it? Is there a point where you switch it up, like after a certain number of games into a streak? Does it depend on the starter or team or whatever else? I'm interested in hearing some opinions on this.

#2Are the streaks really any longer than you would expect from randomness, given a team's likely win percentage?Comment -

#3Well yeah, I suppose... But how do you handle a situation like Houston's 0-7 start this year? They aren't a really good team, but you would think they're better than that. At what point do you jump in and take them on the ML for a nice profit? And what about a team that has a streak past what you would expect given their record?Comment
