    MLB team streaks
Hey guys, I've been lurking here and thought it was time to join in. So here I am, asking your opinion on something. In MLB, a team's season tends to be streaky. When you're going with the ML, do you tend to bet with the streak, or do you figure they're due for a change and bet against it? Is there a point where you switch it up, like after a certain number of games into a streak? Does it depend on the starter or team or whatever else? I'm interested in hearing some opinions on this.

Are the streaks really any longer than you would expect from randomness, given a team's likely win percentage?

Well yeah, I suppose... But how do you handle a situation like Houston's 0-7 start this year? They aren't a really good team, but you would think they're better than that. At what point do you jump in and take them on the ML for a nice profit? And what about a team that has a streak past what you would expect given their record?
