Don't they realized there are 15 min in 2nd half basketball. But they like to end it with 5 min left.

They seem to close a lot of stuff early. I missed out on a soccer game and a basketball game today because my offers weren't matching and they closed at about 59 after the hour when it was supposed to start on the hour (and I have a well synchronized computer clock so I know I still had about 75 seconds left until the hour. It kind of sucks that a book with such lousy liquidity on soccer and basketball (at least basketball totals) takes the games down so early. I guess they do that because they dont want to burn people with open offers but if the traditional books can take their lines down at the correct time without a problem why can't Matchbook.

Ok, if they don't want to burn people with open offers, then why not close every game 5 min before it start. But put live betting for every single game. This way people can really bet till the end of the game. I mean it doesn't cost them any money to hit the LIVE BETTING button lol. And any action that brings in, means more commission for them. I swear upper management at Matchbook are ****tards.

What they ****ing need is some competition on the exchange market, with competition brings changes and improvement. Currently their upper management to ****ing stupid to improve anything.

They don't want to have a lot of games up on which there is no action, and if they had live betting on every game there'd be a lot of games up with no action.

Another in the long line of obvious improvements Matchbook could make but doesn't.

Better to close them early than late.

More clueless replies Matchbook is now an exchange where the small vig and private books ply their trade, including matchbooks owners. The reason markets close early is for them to balance their action, Justin 7 will have all this in his new book "how to give a conservative answer to a complex question"
