    help
Dear, I need some advice. During last 3-4 years, I usually started with 100 euros monthly, and during few days in about half of the cases I had 1000-3000 euros on my account. I played what I thought is the best, reading news, some odds I won were 4.00 or even 5.00 (decimal). Anyway, after I would get that ammount of money I was afraid to play such high odds again, and then I would start to play smaller odds 1.10-1.30, thinking it is sure. But everytime, playing like that, at the end of the month, I had 0 on my account, I always lost everything. Once I lost 3000 on 1.04 odd. Well, I need some advice to know what I am doing wrong. This month I turned 100 euros to 1500, and I don't want to do the same mistake.

    Thank you for any reply.

First, Money management... You need to limit your wager size to an amount that finds a balance between risking enough to be worth making the bet, and protecting yourself from losses. This is typically 2-3% (max 5%) of your available bankroll per wager (with some limitation on the number of games you bet).

Second, Big moneyline faves are not a great strategy. The reward is too small to bet them without risking way too much. I don't understand why you change your strategy after you win..? Bet selection kind of depends on what sports you're wagering on. Different approaches for different games... In most sports, paying more than about -120 (1.83) is going to make your life much harder, as it pushes your required breakeven winning percentage over 55%, which is hard to maintain over the long term.

Why do you change from a strategy that routinely turns 100 to 1000-3000? Whatever you are doing to get from 100 to 1000-3000, keep doing it.

Keep the same strategy that you used to build up your bankroll.
