I dont know anything about bet labs in paticular, but just as a FYI touts that offer free trials have been known to do this cute little scam:

Say they get 200 of you suckers to sign up for free trials for a mnf game. They give 100 people one side and 100 people the other side. Now no matter what they have 100 happy customers. Of the 100 happy ones, they'll give out one side to the next game to 50 of them and the opposite side to the other 50. Now they have 50 people who've gotten two winners a row for free. Do it once more and you have 25 people who have been shown a nice 3-0 start and sign up for a year or whatever. The people that lost get tossed back into the cycle and it starts over again.

Just don't pay for picks like others have said millions of times.

Probably worked better pre internet days. Now people can sort of figure it out, or at leat should be able to.

these are not picks, it is a program that has a shit ton of data from past games. I think it goes back 8 years. you put in filters and it shows you percentages and what not. hard to explain, would have to check it out to understand

            Bet Labs Free Trial

We are currently offering a free 6-day trial for our Bet Labs software, which stores our archived data from 2003 and allows you to use over 60 filters to create betting systems for each of the major sports. We do not send out any picks to these members, rather we are trying to spread the word and encourage people to test out their own theories and betting systems using Bet Labs.

Betlabs is designed to improving your handicapping not replace it. If anyone is familiar with the Buckeye Database, Betlabs is similar but a lot easier to use and offers a lot more filters and data. It also alerts you to available games that fit the systems you create.

Typically you would have to create or buy a massive database and then learn excel or sql to query it. Those days are behind us with the advent of cloud computing and big data. With a tool like Betlabs you just login and start asking our database questions by selecting filters.

For example this weekend in the NFL there are a couple games with big spreads. You might ask yourself…I wonder how betting big dogs has performed in the NFL. You open up BetLabs click on a couple filters and instantly see that betting Dogs of +14.5 or greater has been positive. You’ll also see that betting Visiting Dogs of +14.5 or greater has been even more profitable, 22-15 = 59.5% ROI of 15.7%. Not a huge sample but an interesting angle if you were already looking to bet Oak +14.5 or Jax +20 this weekend. Our data goes back in most cases to 2004. There are a ton of other useful features like ATS Steaks, you can see how teams have performed after losing ATS in their last two games. Also, you can look at how teams perform after a blowout lose or blow win. The list of filters keeps going.

We’ve opened the front door for a couple days and letting anyone with a heartbeat try it. I’d be very interested in getting feedback from members of the Handicapper Think Tank. It was designed to help bettors like you that want to improve their handicapping.
