I'm from a state that doesn't have sports betting. I'm visiting Louisiana for a week that seems to have a lot of sports betting "risk free bets". I am a gambler, but not much of a sports betting gambler. I was wondering if anyone had tips to make the most of these "risk free" bets or if they are a scam.
For example is it dumb for a friend and myself to each sign up and bet on even odds against each other and then split the money for the winner (so we're both even) and then have $1250 in risk free bets?
Is there a better way?
