Ok guys I am a very very VERY novice Excel user, but have a decent understanding and am willing to try and put the work in to get this done.
What I am trying to do is make a spreadsheet that takes all of the days totals on MLB, and then compares that to how that total has done historically over say the last 3-5 seasons. I then want to see how it is trending on the year as well. After that, I will make a determination to bet ALL the unders or ALL the overs based on the percentages of those totals and how they have performed.
For example, if there are 15 posted totals, and 9 of them have historically gone over more than under I would choose all overs because that is the greater percentage.
Has anyone ever tinkered with this or do you think this is a waste of time? I have been following the totals the last 3 weeks and it seems like there are streak and trends and I would like to try and exploit that.
Any info, help, insight would be greatly appreciated!
