if you assume they have a 50% chance to win every game over 16 games (or close to that avg'd out)
using a binomial calculator and assuming 10 wins gets you into playoffs
they have a 77.3% chance to miss the playoffs or get less than 10 wins every year
over 17 years (trials) looking for one success at a 22.7% chance to make it (get to 10)
there would be a 1.26% chance over seventeen years that they never got to 10, and of course they haven't lol
can I use the binomial calculator like this?
