    Blackjack cheating stat Question
I do not play much online BJ, but dabbled a bit today. Saw something that on face seemed questionable but am not sure it is significant statistically. So given small sample size, out of 111 hands dealt the dealer received 20 or 21 48 times. Thoughts on this? bad run or likely cheating software?

Too small a sample size. Impossible to know.

While playing Blackjack in an online casino, the odds of this occurring are about 75%. In a real casino, less than 5%.

Cheating software and it is always going to be a 4-1 ratio of dealer getting 20 or 21 to you getting 20 or 21. Always at a point dealer will go off with non-stop 20s and 21s. Even when you play 3 hands vs the dealer it still beats you because it will get a 20 or 21.

Which real casino plays the same game as online, reshuffle after every head?

Yes seriously. Maybe not every time but there are sessions where i add it all up and i compare how often the dealer gets 20 or 21 to myself. Even when i win the dealer still outnumbers me . I just get lucky here and there and manage to win some. But i have NEVER in all the sessions i have played online ever had almost 50% of total hands being close to 50% . As a matter of fact i get 12-17 almost every hand . I may get a 20-21 maybe 10% if i am lucky. Dealer will get it Mid 40s . And what makes it even worse i will at times play 3 hands versus 1 and i will lose 3 hands without getting a single BJ or 20 but dealer in those 4 hands of 3 vs 1 will pull a 20 or 21 every time.

This page shows the probability that the dealer will draw to any total from 17 to 21 or bust, given the dealer's up card, number of decks, and whether the dealer hits or stands on soft 17. This page assumes the dealer already peeked for blackjack, eliminating that possibility.

The best advice. It is a software program, not random but a program, specifically designed to win more than you do.

The software is set up to get low cards to get to 20/21 when hitting. I have hit many times on 17 and 18 when the dealer showed a 10 and ended up getting a 3

And online backgammon is just as squirrelly.

Lol of course its "cheating" software, but not really because nobody forces anyone to play it. If dealer gets 20 or 21 43% of the time ask yourself how in the world are you going to win.

Blackjack can be fun in a casino but if you play blackjack online you are just a degenerate and have a problem.

Which place did you record this? I was playing some today at SBR Multihand BJ and recorded this. Out of only 36 hands played SBR dealer had 5 21's (4 natural) 11 20's, 4 19's an 3 18's. I mean come on, even with small sample that is ridiculous. Hope I learned my lesson to stay away from their casino.

It was SBR, but I didn't complain cause it was free. I guess I expect them to take back points like that.

That's about right for ANY online casino.
