Say you have six bets you like this upcoming cfb weekend
    assuming all bets are -110

    Team A is your strongest
Team B & C you also rly like but not as much as team A
and Team D E & F you like, strong enough to be more than just a lean but not as much as you like B & C

How would you size each wager

    3 units team A
    2 units B & C
    1 unit D E F

just 1 unit on Team A pass on the rest

    all the same

    2 units on A 1 unit on B & C pass on D E F?

It depends on your record with your various assessments ie. your edge.

Do your A wagers show a profit? Do your other wagers show a profit? I have seen where a person's strongest plays have actually created the largest losses. To me, strongest plays only take on significance only if they show strongest overall profits which then may suggest a different allocation of funds.

      Joe.

kelly sheep will tell you to accurately gauge your Edge and bet accordingly

i would tell you if you like these plays it had better be because you made your own number and the posted line does not match yours. i assume you trust your numbers. i'd go 2.5%, 2% and 1%.

Without question, one unit on A and pass on the rest is the way to go. It provides a very good return for the least amount of risk.

If you have a real time history of accurately predicting the strength of your bets, the 3 A, 2 B and C, and 1 D,E,F would have been the way to go. If not treat them all the same.

seems you are prepared to risk 6 units and have no stats on your previous wagering.
Well its no fun to just play one game, so I vote for your 3,2,1 unit bets [or 2,2,2 which wasnt an option you quoted]
can you tell us if these are real games you like

If you think a bet has value, you should make the bet.

Ok, in my case the bets are for NFL week 1

                      Team A

                      Bills +2.5

                      Teams B & C

                      Raiders +3.5
                      Raiders/Bengals over 43.5

                      Teams D E & F

                      Bucs/Titans over 41.5
                      Bills/Colts under 46
                      Giants +6

I consider myself good at betting NFL its really the only sport i bet
I decided to do 3 units 2 units 1 unit...

I would flat bet. Varying bet size will increase risk of ruin (going broke). Even if your best bets are 60% chance to win, if they lose and your other bets win you could lose money. Anytime you can win more than 53% of your bets and still lose money is a bad situation.
kelly betting is good for the pros, but even pros go broke using kelly. You really need to know your odds of winning each bet to successfully vary bet size over time.
My 2 cents, I've always done better flat betting. I've gotten lucky short term varying bet sizes but eventually I get burned.

Well, now's as good a time as any to keep records on the ones you feel variably confident about. You'll have a better guess of proper bet sizing for you next season as you see how your strongest do vs your ok vs your leans.

Im a firm believer that you bet the same flat amount (1 unit) and bet as many times if you feel you have an edge (college football saturday I may place 25-30 bets). The more you bet the greater the odds that you will win and not feel the pinch of a backdoor cover. I bet on football more as a hobby so my bets are small. 1 unit to me is $11 but I have fun with it and over the entire season I typically win a little money.

Round Robin the 3 games you least like
The 2 games in the middle bet the max
and the game you like the best put a big bet
In this case in the NFL that would be the Patriots -14 for 500 dollars

Holy action junkie. That strategy isn''t successful long term. But being a recreational bettor like you stated, why the hell not.
