    Line movement value
This must've been discussed somewhere, but I'm not sure how to find it.

    Here's an example:

The actual total on a basketball game is 142.5. How much would under 147.5 be worth, assuming the regular line is 142.5, -110 on each side?

You can use the halfpoint calculator (google it) to calculate it. (However, when extrapolating over several points from the starting line that method may become inaccurate.)

An useful estimate(at least imo) for NBA is that each halfpoint u "buy" is worth 4 cents, so using that estimate the actual line should have been +130/-150 O/U at 147,5

So getting U147,5 at -110 would be a very good bet
