Does Teasing both sides of a game return profitable??
Taking say the same two teams:
    Denver Nuggets -6 Dallas Mavs
    Orlando Magic -8 Sac Kings

Would it be profitable to say tease to Den -2 Orlando -4 and Dallas +10 Sac +12 and go for a middle??

Although I gave an example I am more interested in if you blindly tease both sides of a game? I mean it sounds like most of the time you will either win 1 or the other thus breaking even and if you middle you win big...

im not stupid though I know that Denver could win by 1 and Orlando by 13 thus breaking both sides of the equation...

Just wondered what the think tank numbers crunchers thought???

And I know that 4 points isnt a very big teaser so would the equation change if we did a 6 or 7 point teaser??? 3 teams instead of 2??

    Justin? Ganch?

I don't know about blindly doing it. I am sure if you put a lot of research into the games and find the ones you think will over close to the original spread then teasing both sides could be profitable.

No, they aren't. Though in this case they aren't a good idea.

Nothing wrong with teasers, but I see no reason why blindly teasing teams in the NBA would be a good idea, nor any reason why favorites of different games might be correlated.

According to my very quick research, over the past week, only 15 out of 51 games ended within four points of the posted line, thereby allowing you to "middle" your teaser wager. I think your chances of finding the right game to make such a play on any given night are not very good.
