Thanks I don't contribute to this thread as much as I do the baseball thread but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy watching hockey whenver I have the time which is usually on weekends.

Sucks that Ovechkin got Covid and had to miss last nights game against Edmonton not to mention the All Star game. It did make it easy to take Edmonton and make some money but it sucks that Covid is still running rampant through the league and taking out its biggest stars.

Fair or not, many dusted off their “Jump to Conclusions” mats and wondered if some All-Star dodging is afoot here between Ovechkin and the Capitals. As you may recall, Ovechkin accepted a one-game suspension to avoid the 2020 NHL All-Star Game.

Juuse Saros got his 100th career win for Nashville on Tuesday

The Finnish netminder is playing in his 6th full season this year, after being a 4th round draft pick in 2013 at the age of 18

    His career stats:
    100 Wins - 58 Losses in regulation + 20 Losses in OT/SO
2.46 GAA goals against per game average
    .922 save percentage
    16 shutouts

Saros has started 38 of the 46 games this season for the Predators, who sit in 2nd place in the Central division with 60 points, trailing division leading Colorado by 8 points heading into the All-Star break

Executives around the NHL have reportedly been quite concerned since it was revealed last week that the Arizona Coyotes were in advanced talks to play at a 5,000-seat university rink for the next few seasons.

That could be all tied up after tonight Otters. I think NYR may beat FLA, while COL should have no problem with ARI.

Lowest number of losses in the league; 8. Only 2 of those losses on home ice.

Amazing, especially since almost everyone tests positive for WuFlu at some point, not to mention injuries.
