CHI - QB Chase Daniel to start?

Chicago Bears QB Chase Daniel could be making his first start of the year this week with 'plenty of signs' pointing that direction, according to The Chicago Tribune's Dan Wiederer. QB Mitchell Trubisky (shoulder) is dealing with a shoulder injury as noted earlier. Note this report came out later in the day Tuesday several hours after Adam Schefter's report that the Bears were optimistic about Trubisky playing Thursday.

The Bears are on the road in Detroit as they play on Thanksgiving in Week 12. Daniel was with Nagy during their time with the Chiefs and knows the offense well. We'll be nerfing expectations for all Bears players if Daniel does get the start. There are conflicting reports on this so stay tuned Wednesday to see which way this moves.

TB - TE O.J. Howard goes to IR

Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE O.J. Howard (foot, ankle) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Tuesday, Nov. 20.

That's two years in a row (Howard's only two seasons in the pros) we see Howard end his season on Injured Reserve. He was a TE1 for Fantasy GMs when healthy and should be that once again next season. The Buccaneers turn to Cameron Brate as their top tight end and he's a favorite target of QB Jameis Winston. Keep Brate's name in mind when looking for a cheaper DFS play in Week 12. Season-long Fantasy GMs know that Brate can post TE1 numbers on a weekly basis.

MIA - QB Ryan Tannehill starting Week 12

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill (shoulder) will return and start in Week 12 against the Indianapolis Colts.

This was the plan all along as most writers around the team expected Tannehill to return after the Dolphins bye. Brock Osweiler goes back to the bench even though Tannehill is not 100 percent (by his own admission). He should be playing from behind against the Colts on Sunday, so Tannehill should be projected as a QB2 for Fantasy GMs in Week 12.

CHI - Conflicting Reports About QB Mitchell Trubisky

Chicago Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky (shoulder) is dealing with a shoulder injury suffered in the fourth quarter of Week 11, but the Bears are reportedly optimistic that he will be able to play Thanksgiving Day, a source said Tuesday, Nov. 20. Note that this report from Schefter was around mid day on Tuesday. Other reports later Tuesday indicated Trubisky could miss the game.

Reports vary about Trubisky's availability for the Thanksgiving game against the Lions. If he can't play, the Bears turn to Chase Daniel as their starter.

ATL - WR Calvin Ridley remains limited

An interesting move for the Colts here. LAR - RB Todd Gurley hampered by ankle

Los Angeles Rams RB Todd Gurley (ankle) was limited in Week 11 after he had his ankle rolled on early against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to head coach Sean McVay. Gurley will be fine going forward, however.

Green Bay Packers WR Geronimo Allison's (groin) season is over after the Packers used their second Reserve/Injured designation to return on WR Jake Kumerow (shoulder) Wednesday, Nov. 21.

The Packers just placed Allison on Injured Reserve earlier this month. The talented third-year pro seemed to be building on the mini-breakout he had in 2017. The Packers move forward with Davante Adams as their lead receiver with guys like Randall Cobb, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Equanimeous St. Brown, Jake Kumerow and J'Mon Moore competing for targets behind him.

There never seemed to be much hope that the Jets would be getting quarterback Sam Darnold back in the lineup this week as he never did more than dress for practice and the team made his status official on Friday.

Darnold has been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Patriots because of a foot injury. It’s the second straight game that the rookie has missed.

Josh McCown will start for the second game in a row. McCown was 17-of-34 for 135 yards and two interceptions in a 41-10 loss to the Bills in Week 10. Davis Webb will back McCown up.

The Jets are holding out hope that wide receiver Robby Anderson will be able to join McCown in the offense. Anderson has been listed as questionable with an ankle injury.

Former Steelers WR Santonio Holmes claimed in an August radio interview that Brown had the trait.

It was his first 300-yard game of the season. He also won his 71st game, passing former QB Dave Krieg for most regular-season wins in franchise history.

Tell me about it I have Melvin Gordon in both work leagues so my depth will be tested. In one league I at least have Fournette, Chubb and Lindsay to put in there but in the other I need to pick up another running back even though I have Kamara, Ingram and Coleman.
