    Fantasy baseball league opening : ~ $450 : Mixed - season points - 15 teams
    Basic information:

    ● Draft is held every year live in Las Vegas and online. It is not mandatory to go to Las Vegas for draft.


    ● League has been in existence for 22 seasons


    ● Entry fee: $200 for new owners. $400 for returning owners


    ● Transaction fees: Average per team per season is ~$250


    ● Total cost first season : ~ $450


    ● Format: Mixed, weekly, and redraft league with option of player protection for 1 season for up to 8 players. For each protected player a draft pick is forfeited beginning with first round. New owners can with stipulations draft protected players


    ● Season, monthly, and weekly prizes


    ● Monthly supplemental draft


    ● League is run through OnRoto (Sample league on OnRoto http://baseball1.onroto.com/baseball/webnew/display_stand.pl?sample )


    ● The 2017 first prize is ~ $3,600 plus an additional $200 in other awards. Prizes for 1st - 5th place


    ● Draft is held after Spring Training in late March or early April

    Scoring:

    Hitting

    Total Bases +1
    RBI's +1
    Runs +1
    Stolen Bases +1
    Caught Stealing -1

    Pitching

    Wins +25
    Losses -10
    Saves + 8
    Strikeouts + 2
    Earned Runs - 2
    Walks -1

    1st 44% $3,620
    2nd 25% $2,050
    3rd 15% $1,205
    4th 10% $ 805
    5th 6% $ 490

    I would say fees would be more than $200 for a competitive team. Although I could be wrong.

    I’ve never been a fan of a fee per transaction league.

    Although someday I’d like to find a good league where everyone meets for the draft.

        I actually went to their league rules page and it’s VERY thorough. Being that they’ve been doing this over 20 years I wouldn’t have much concern about joining the league.

        However, it’s not the style I prefer.

              That was a fun league....however last year we couldn’t get enough people.

              Secondly...it was run by Astro who has disappeared from the site.
