CLE - Hue Jackson not rushing QB decision
Source: The Cleveland Plain Dealer - Mary Kay Cabot
Cleveland Browns QB Robert Griffin III or any other player won't be named the starting quarterback until they earn it, according to head coach Hue Jackson, but Jackson said that he expects to name the Week 1 start well before the season opener.

It's May. And Jackson is way too smart to paint himself into any corners this early in the year.

NYG - WR Victor Cruz limited this offseason
Source: New York Daily News - Seth Walder
New York Giants WR Victor Cruz (knee, calf) has received limited work during offseason workouts but hopes to be a full participant once training camp begins.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Not only is Cruz coming back from a major knee injury, but he also has this calf problem that plagued him last year to overcome. We won't feel too excited about his prospects in 2016 until we see him in camp and the preseason. Then, we'll have a better idea about his potential this season. Cruz said he believes he will be ready for the start of the 2016 season.

JAX - QB Blake Bortles in better situation
Source: The Florida Times-Union - Ryan O'Halloran
Jacksonville Jaguars QB Blake Bortles will be able to jump into offseason work right away on his own because he knows the offense now, as opposed to last year when he waiting for instruction, according to offensive coordinator Greg Olson.

Fantasy owners were super happy with Bortles last year as he finished the season as the 4th-best fantasy QB. Bortles was picked up late in most drafts and even as a waiver-wire addition in some leagues in 2015, but you won't be getting the same value this year. He had 35 touchdowns last year, and that's around where we have him projected again this season. Bortles needs to be more consistent, but he's a high-upside QB1 as a weekly starter.

OAK - Connor Cook impressing
Source: San Francisco Chronicle - Vic Tafur
Oakland Raiders QB Connor Cook will vie for the backup position with QB Matt McGloin. Cook impressed head coach Jack Del Rio at rookie minicamp. 'I think he's been outstanding,' Del Rio said. 'Obviously he is intelligent. He asks good questions. He's got arm talent. It's a matter of getting familiar [with] what we do and how we do it.'
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Let's pump the brakes here. Cook fell to the fourth round for a reason--mainly accuracy problems and off-field concerns. At Michigan State, Cook never had 60 percent completions and even on passes from 1-10 yards he was the third-worst QB (in completion percentage) in this draft class. Dynasty owners are hoarding QBs, so Cook has been picked up in most deep dynasty leagues.

ARI - CB Antonio Cromartie likely not a target
Source: ESPN.com - Josh Weinfuss
Free-agent CB Antonio Cromartie (Jets) likely will not be pursued by the Arizona Cardinals, in the opinion of ESPN.com's Josh Weinfuss.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
There could be an opportunity for a veteran CB in the Cardinals starting lineup opposite Patrick Peterson. Justin Bethel could be that guy, but he's coming off April surgery to repair a foot injury. Third-round pick Brandon Williams (Texas A&M) is a raw prospect with starter's upside, but asking him to start early in his career is a stretch.

TEN - WR Justin Hunter may be limited
Source: The Tennessean - John Glennon
Tennessee Titans WR Justin Hunter (ankle) probably will be limited when organized team activities start later this month.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
A second-round pick in 2013, Hunter has been a disappointment to this point in his career. The Titans have gone out and added talent to the position including free agent Rishard Matthews and in the draft with Tajae Sharpe. In only nine games last year, Hunter had 22 catches for 264 yards and one touchdown.
