Indeed. Something about Will Smith having dinner with a retired policeman prior to confrontation... something about a hit and run car crash a day or couple days before involving some of same people/victims.

I had read that the cop that Smith had dinner with was involved in the killing of Cardell Hayes' father a few years earlier. The father had some mental issues and charged the Police with a knife or some shit.

Hummer brake checked Smith. I wonder if he was trying to instigate something. Other than that, the actions by the shooter (Hayes) after the fact seems to me that he believed he was in the right. The loaded handgun in the car and the passenger in Hayes' Hummer support the accusation that Smith pulled his gun first. Very odd case.
