Josh McCown Could Be Out Several Weeks for Bucs
Apparently his thumb injury is worse than first believed.

FOX Sports' Alex Marvez reports Josh McCown (thumb) is expected to miss "several weeks."

McCown was believed to be dealing with only a sprain, but the injury is more serious than initially thought. Mike Glennon will get an extended look in McCown's absence and could remain the starter going forward. McCown was struggling to move the offense prior to going down, and had a 2:4 TD:INT ratio through two and a half games.

Better off giving Glennon one more shot to see if he is future starter or if they will take a qb with top 5 pick next year.

I don't care who is throwing the ball, but somebody needs to get it to Vincent Jackson. I think Glennon will make that happen.

This would be a good thing for Tampa.

Minny would take a bag of dicks if they were offered for Ponder. Tampa's QB of future is not currently on their roster.

It's already paying dividends for Tampa.
