Why can't people get over the fact that he's the backup QB who knows the system and will come in due to injury or piss poor play and thats it, there is no real competition.....You don't give up on a young QB with all of the tools who finally put it together towards the end of last season.....Geno had a brutal stretch but looked pretty good to end the season and seems to be working his ass off all off-season....Gotta roll with the young gun and see what happens

Vick will prob start atleast one game.....Geno may never get there but the book is far from closed after 1 year:

If Vick has to start 75% of the games the Jets are ******. If Geno however gets more consistent the Jets should be 10-6

When you have No QB, then Vick is your only options, maybe Boyd can come in and hep them to a 5-11 record which is what I predict for them this year.

JJ is right, Vick doesn't care. He's rich. He doesn't care about legacy. Effort will be the exact minimum to keep collecting a paycheck. 100% to get injured this year, even as a backup. Find me a prop for the Jets third string QB to start at least one game and I'll pound it

last time I checked philly switched to alleged superstar nick foles who got booted out in the first playoff game. it was never about vick in philly , it was about ZERO defense. vick will do well this year if he starts cause jets actually have a team unlike philly who was a loose cannon under andy reid with zero defense for last 3 years.
