That is the one issue with daily fantasy basketball. You have one guy who does not perform up to par you are done. There are so many guys who will put up big fantasy numbers that you opponent or opponents will have taken you down already. We are just beginning though with the season plenty of time to get the handle on this. I did alright last season but I didn't get into it until maybe mid season.

LOL...Noles McRoberts played at Duke was drafted back in 2007. My main purpose for taking him today was due to the injuries Orlando is dealing with right now at the forward position so he should be able to get some time on the court and should be able to put up a decent stat line for how cheap he is. Let's hope it works I might be a genius if it does...

Only finished with 250 last night but ended up 8th in a 50/50 with 50 people in it. My goal is to average between 270-300 each night I need to keep working to get there.

The thing that hurt me from getting to my goal was Barea going down with a concusion in the 2nd quarter. He got me 11 points in about 7 minutes of play. He was on pace for a 30 plus fantasy point night. But you are right Noles I placed so it's all good. I will probably take another stab with a 50/50 tonight. Just going to look over a few things today and see who I like.

Yeah I like the 50/50. If I play lets say $50 in games, I try to get a couple of $11-20 50/50's to break even if I dont place in the high volume entries games. In fact I think I played in 1 hoops game all yesterday might have been a free roll. Cant remeber which site LOL! Was actually to busy getting my as_ HANDED TO ME ON FOOTBALL!

I'll be playing tonight. Don't see too many values. Prices have stabilized a bit.

Basketball is too consistent which kind of makes it boring.

mo williams and collison still seem cheap after good games.

I find football more fun but I'll play everyday still since I'm such a degenerate.

Like it Jeeps, I do have a question about putting multiple players from same team on roster, has that worked for you, do you ever go more than 3. I have gone 2 unless of course there are only 2 games. I know some guys have stacked rosters with all but 1 player( Rules I think) from same team in hockey, and think I have seen it in hoops. What are your thoughts?

Noles, I usually don't like stacking players from one team. I agree with you I try not to go past two. If I go to three is could be due to the match up Example last night I put three from Golden State thinking they would light up the Kings since usually everyone does but the two teams combine to score just 186 points, that's my luck.

I know with baseball that use to be the norm with alot of daily fantasy players. Guys would stack a team with hitters who were facing a pitcher who was struggling. I know dailyjoust changed that during the season where you can't stack like that anymore. From what I remeber it is now to the point where you can only use three players from one team.

I usually only use 2 players on the same team, maybe 3 if it's Kicker/Defense.

In hockey, supposedly everyone used the whole team since the scoring system favored it. I really wanted to try hockey, hopefully they change the scoring system.

Oh yeah, had dion watters on that team yesterday. Still finished in the 20's in the big leagues. Sucks.

Won every 50/50, h2h but that's boring.
